Genack ("we", "us", "our") is a California-based company and the controller responsible for your personal data under applicable U.S. and California law and, for users located in the European Union or United Kingdom, under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Genack operates a directory and aggregator of AI training, data labeling, and RLHF jobs across third-party platforms, and hosts worker-submitted reviews. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

For users in the EU or UK, we process your personal data only where we have a lawful basis under the GDPR:

• Consent: for non-essential cookies, newsletter signups, and optional inputs you choose to submit to AI tools.
• Contract: to operate your account and provide the features you request.
• Legitimate interests: to aggregate and display public job postings, analyze and improve the Service, and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Legal obligation: where required by law.

Our AI features are assistive tools. They do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. You remain in control of reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use or send any AI-generated content.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as necessary:

• With service providers: We use AI, email, and hosting providers that process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
• For legal reasons: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Many listings are aggregated from publicly available pages on third-party platforms. We pull this information automatically and do not have a direct partnership or integration with the companies shown. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of those companies, and all trademarks and job postings belong to their respective owners. We do not collect or host your application materials — when you apply, you are redirected to an external site governed by its own terms and privacy policy, where you submit your application directly to that platform. We are not responsible for the practices of those external sites.

The Quick Match wizard processes the preferences you provide to rank active roles using rule-based logic; it does not use third-party AI models. Our help assistant processes your messages using third-party AI models. Avoid submitting sensitive personal data such as government IDs, financial details, or health information to the help assistant. AI-generated content may be inaccurate; review it before relying on it.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and measure traffic. A cookie consent banner is shown on your first visit; you can accept analytics cookies or continue with only essential cookies. You can change your choice by clearing cookies in your browser. Some features may not work without cookies.

We keep personal information only as long as necessary:

• Account data: retained while your account is active and removed when you delete it.
• Quick Match inputs: processed for the request and not retained.
• Help assistant conversations: retained only as needed to provide the session response, unless saved for support.
• Job and company listings: kept while postings are active and updated or removed as their sources change.
• Newsletter signups: retained until you unsubscribe.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, access, correct, delete, or restrict its use, object to processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA (see below), and users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland have equivalent rights under the GDPR.

To exercise any right, contact us at help@genack.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also have the right to raise a complaint with the data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

The site is not intended for individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us to have it removed.

Genack operates a global service from California and uses third-party providers — including AI, email, analytics, and hosting — that may process personal data in various countries. Where your personal data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards to help protect it — such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the EEA/UK, and equivalent measures under applicable U.S. and California law.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common standard for how such signals are interpreted, Genack does not currently alter its practices in response to Do Not Track signals. Our use of cookies is described above and is limited to analytics and preferences.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act give you additional rights. We do not "sell" or "share" your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, correct inaccurate information, and limit use of sensitive personal information.
